Organisé sous le Haut Patronage de SAS
le Prince Albert II de Monaco, le Congrès
« 4M-International - Tête et Cou » vous est proposé les 20 et 21 avril 2007 à Monaco.
Ses objectifs comportent plusieurs originalités. Tout d¹abord, la transversalité d¹un congrès réunissant pour la première
fois l¹ensemble des spécialités concernées ainsi que leurs Sociétés
Savantes.
L¹ouverture résolument internationale de la Faculté et des participants, en
particulier cette année vers la Belgique, l¹Italie, la Suisse, l¹Allemagne
et les pays méditerranéens.
Ainsi, le partage des expériences entre libéraux et hospitalo-universitaires
de tous horizons, les échanges des connaissances et des idées sont la
promesse d¹une émulation intellectuelle et de rencontres profitables à chacun.
Le programme scientifique, très dense, abordera la plupart des thèmes majeurs de la pathologie et du traitement des affections de la tête et du cou. Les nouvelles technologies et les procédures mini-invasives seront plus particulièrement favorisées rendant les choix des conférences parfois bien
difficiles pour les participants. De plus, une belle exposition, réalisée
avec nos fidèles partenaires de l¹industrie, sera l¹occasion de découvrir de nombreuses nouveautés dans ces domaines aussi diversifiés.
Enfin, le site prestigieux du Grimaldi Forum de Monaco ne déplaira pas aux
plus exigeants en ce printemps 2007. Sa position en bord de mer et ses
installations de haut niveau technologique permettront de vous accueillir dans des conditions optimales de qualité. La proximité du Centre Hospitalier
Princesse Grâce autorisera aussi des retransmissions de « Live Chirurgie »
réalisées par des chirurgiens de renom.
Très attaché à l¹accueil et à la convivialité, le comité d¹organisation vous attend nombreux lors du «4M-International - Tête et Cou - 2007».

In Monaco, at the prestigious Grimaldi Forum, on 20th and 21st April 2007, a new type of congress will be held, « Monaco Multidisciplinary International Medical Meeting – Head and Neck » “4M – Head and Neck”
As part of the excellent Master - Congress « MAC on MIP », “4M – Head and Neck” will be based around a solid and very ambitious international scientific
programme focused on Ophthalmology and Oculo-Plastic Surgery, ENT (otolaryngology) and Face and Neck Surgery, Stomatology and Maxillo-
Facial Surgery as well as Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery,
Dermatology and Endocrinology.
I particularly wish to thank for their unconditional support, Patrick Niccolaï, « MAC on MIP » executive director, who first trusted in « 4M International – Head and Neck », Pierre Lavagna, François Disant,
Dominique Goga, Jacques Lagier, Roberto Polselli, André Chays, Jacques Magnan, Michel Audion, Frédéric Braccini, Jérôme Paris and Alain Karoutchi who have so kindly accepted to implicate themselves in this organisation.
The spirit of « 4M – Head and Neck » rests on three simple themes: innovation,
multidisciplinary exchanges and conviviality.
Innovation is always a challenge, taking a chance on future. A bet we
already took when creating congresses in Nice which proved to be very
successful.
Significant progress has been brought about by recent developments in medicine, especially to the mini-invasive procedures and permanent evolution of constraining regulations where the safety of patients is a main concern.
Finally the in-depth changes in our society worldwide make us naturally
think about the future of medical congresses.
Thus the idea was born to hold in Monaco a true place for international and multidisciplinary exchanges, a meeting place where intellectual emulation leads to a true creative osmosis, providing a privileged moment somewhat out of time, in an already quite congested agenda.
The objectives of "4M – Head and Neck" are clearly defined. Naturally located at the crossroads of communication conducted by Ophthalmology and ENT (otolaryngology), "4M – Head and Neck" ensures a medico-surgical multidisciplinarity which permits exchanges with shared pathologies to meet as well as to introduce a trusted partnership with an industry still very much involved in health, tuned to innovations and
sometimes in search of conversational partners. So we are inviting not only the medical and ancillary medical professions directly involved to join this congress, in a true open spirit, far from any sterile sectarianism, but also social sciences, the communications industry and all the parties involved in helping handicapped people suffering from sensory pathology to get to know better their action and share their experience.
Ultimately, much attached to a spirit of conviviality, the organizing Committee has ensured an informal relaxing atmosphere throughout the congress, already rich in scientific exchanges, which we hope to be fruitful in inter professional and friendly meetings. The enthusiasm raised
among the fellow-members of all horizons to whom we spoke of this project,
is an indicator of the very favorable reaction from all around us, an enthusiastic omen for the success of this unique event.
However, only your participation will ensure the true success of this congress "4M – Head and Neck" which we have prepared for you and with you. The whole organising Committee hopes you will all come to
